Service Precedes Profit

It is difficult to find a successful and purpose-driven business that doesn’t prioritize serving people. Service is an essential element in every such endeavor.

In a letter addressed to the people of Corinth (now located in Greece), the Apostle Paul imparts the wisdom of selflessness, stating, “Let no one seek only his own good, but also that of the other person” (1 Corinthians‬ ‭10:24‬ ‭AMP‬‬).

He urges the Corinthians, and by extension, all of us, to pursue what is best for others, not just for ourselves. This practice, especially in the realm of business, leads to the creation of value for others, subsequently resulting in profit for the enterprise.

It becomes evident that when our primary focus is on serving others, we ascend to a higher echelon of prosperity.
